My Pinhole Results

My pinhole was a success as I managed to capture the passing sun over 3 months. Each day the sun raised a little leaving me with a arched effect as it rose and set. There are also days where it was cloudy so the sun didn't shine through, this left me with gaps in the light trails. I believe it was successful because I placed it in a high enough place where I could capture the car park trees and sun.  I would have sealed it better as water managed to get inside the can and leave marks I could have used extra zip ties and duct tape. If this didn't happen i would have been able to capture more of the surroundings.

This is how my print looked when i first took it out the can.

Once I took a photo of it on a digital camera i opened the image up in Lightroom.

This is the set up we had in order to take the photo of it.

After adjusting it in Lightroom I then opened it up in photoshop where i changed the levels and exposure. i then proceeded to remove blemishes and marks.
After editing I then had this as my final result.

The pinhole started out black and white with parts of pink and brown, only after I changed the contrast and exposure i was left whit the cyan colour.

  1. This is a beautiful result, improve the evaluation by explaining whats in the image and how you captured it
